The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) is a global, not-for-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the control system integration industry. CSIA supports its members by enhancing their business skills, providing a platform for sharing industry expertise, and promoting the advantages of hiring certified control system integrators.
Recognizing the critical need for improved professional development resources, CSIA partnered with Enable Education to create three comprehensive eLearning courses. These courses are meticulously designed to equip each CSIA member company’s staff with the refined business skills necessary for success and to foster a deeper understanding of industry best practices.
The Challenge
The CSIA is committed to offering exceptional learning and development opportunities to its members, which is a cornerstone of their membership benefits. Although they have extensive technical expertise, CSIA lacked the in-house capacity to develop the specialized learning solutions their members required. System integrators, continually seeking to enhance their business acumen and technical proficiency, needed access to best-practice advice, research, and insights from top industry experts.

The Solution
Collaborating with CSIA, Enable embarked on an exciting project to design three standalone eLearning courses specifically tailored for engineers and system integrators. To ensure the training was both accurate and practical, Enable worked closely with CSIA member company’s subject matter experts (SMEs). These SMEs were integral to the development process, offering deep insights into their areas of expertise. Real-world examples and scenarios contributed by SMEs enriched the content, making the learning experience dynamic and directly applicable to the daily challenges faced by CSIA members.
The Outcome
This exciting collaboration resulted in the creation of impactful eLearning courses, epitomizing the expert knowledge and advanced learning design. Drawing upon the invaluable content provided by industry SMEs, Enable’s learning experience designers crafted courses that are both relevant and practically oriented towards the needs of CSIA members.
Each course is structured around a pre-assessment to gauge initial knowledge levels, followed by a post-assessment to measure the learning outcomes, ensuring effective learning and retention. The comprehensive approach adopted by Enable Education ensures that CSIA members receive high-quality training that directly enhances their professional capabilities and contributes to their success in the competitive market.
