What happened in 2021?
2021 was a year of exciting innovation, growth and learning for everyone at Enable Education. We held and attended some inspiring virtual events, supported our clients through another challenging year of the COVID-19 pandemic, began work on an innovative presentation platform for virtual learning experiences, and created a number of fun and engaging learning resources for kids. And, despite the ongoing challenges, we not only stayed standing – we grew as a company!
We Celebrated 15 Years
This year, in March, we celebrated 15 years as a business. Over the past decade and half, our team has grown, our space has grown, our capabilities have grown, and our partnerships with our community and with other organizations have grown.
Our First International Women’s Day Virtual Conference
Earlier this year, Enable hosted a panel of business leaders who discussed the incredible ripple effect of a great company culture. Panelists shared inspiring stories of inclusion and discussed how supporting women in the workforce drives business success.
We Began a Number of Social Impact Projects
As part of our social impact initiatives, Enable collaborates with companies on socially focused projects that train and educate an organization’s stakeholders or community. This year, our collaborations have resulted in great learning solutions for Oakville Community Forum and Body Brave, and our work continues with RISC and Second Harvest.
We Designed and Developed Learning Experiences
We continued to partner with clients to design and develop engaging and effective learning solutions, following a thorough analysis of their organizational and learning needs. We worked with Ethics Bowl, continued our work with NI and FIRST, and so many more!
We Began the Development of Sidekick
Sidekick is a VILT (Virtual Instructor Led Training) platform that fosters learner engagement, measures training effectiveness, and facilitates live learning sessions. We’re incredibly excited for the (imminent!) launch of this platform.
Ben spoke at the 2021 Thought Industries Conference
Enable CEO Ben Zimmer, and one of Enable’s longest-standing clients, Gretchen Edelmon (Principal Product Owner, Digital Learning Experience, NI), were invited to talk at the Thought Industries conference in September. Ben and Gretchen spoke on the topic of Partnering to Build a Learner Experience Platform (LxP) [Youtube link to Thought Industries video] and discussed the critical role partnerships play in a successful implementation.
Red T Raised the Bar
This year Red T Media, Enable’s sister company, launched the Wall of Wonder learning platform published a new book and ebook, and won an award!
Continued, Steady Growth
Most people would probably agree that 2021 has been another year of uncertainty in almost every area of our lives. In spite of the challenges the year threw our way, Enable continued to grow steadily as a company and continued to create impactful learning experiences for our clients.
Thank you to the creative, hard-working, and innovative Enable team that has helped us reach the business goals we set for ourselves.
Thank you too, to our clients, partners and community that have helped us get to where we are today. We look forward to a new year of exciting learning, innovation, and collaboration.
