Workplace Learning Has Changed
Workplace learning has transformed quite a bit in the past decade.
The new incoming workforce paired with modern workplace norms have surfaced a gradual shift toward new expectations. Today, flexibility on all fronts tops lists for both workers and employers. We often hear of employers looking for workers that are well versed in a number of subjects. And on the other end, we see workers who are looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
Learning sits at the centre of this shift. When learning is involved, workers feel compelled to excel in their roles. They know that if they put their learning to good use, they will continue to be faced with new opportunities to grow. Likewise, when they provide learning opportunities, employers know that they can count on their employees to be dedicated and productive.
Undoubtedly, these changes have brought workplace learning into the spotlight. Though it wasn’t always a business focus. Walkthrough the interaction above to dive into the changes we have seen in workplace learning over the past decade.
